We are a team of scientists focused on the development of novel applications and methods using mass spectrometry for the analysis of agricultural products and systems.

Mass spectrometry is an analytical tool that enables the detection (and sometimes quantitation) of molecules in complex matrices (e.g.,  plant or animal tissue, soil, etc.).  These molecules can tell us a lot about what is going on in that biological system (e.g., response to stress or inputs) or how they might impact the biological system that consumes it (e.g., as food for humans, animals or microbes!).
